A film in the outdoors is not just a narrative—it’s a tribute to the wild, a call to explore, protect, and connect with the natural world. This notion got me hooked to videography in 2015. I was a dentist then.
To strengthen my relationship with the outdoors, I became a trek leader with Indiahikes. For two years, I led over 60 teams through the challenging, high-altitude terrains of the Himalayas. Spending extended periods in the mountains and forests. Shooting in unpredictable weather, navigating complex terrains and harnessing natural light in dynamic landscapes shaped my ability to create powerful frames that tell compelling stories.
I also got the opportunity to lead the video production team at Indiahikes, where I experimented with different video formats – branding films, information shorts, reels. It taught me a lot about what makes a strong brand voice, what tells an impactful story.
Having completed the advanced filmmaking course by Art of Documentary, I now specialise in crafting inspiring stories set in the outdoors, filled with adventure and beauty of nature.
